Rotunda Software, an industry leader in volunteer scheduling software, is seeking a personable, positive, and smart individual to help churches and nonprofit organizations schedule, connect, and grow their volunteer base. Formal experience with sales and/or content writing is preferred but not required.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates living in the continental United States. Priority will be given to candidates living in California, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Virginia.

As a Sales and Content Specialist, you'll work on our close-knit, collaborative team, owning sales efforts within an assigned US region. You'll also be responsible for creating compelling content to engage prospective and existing clients. If you take great pleasure in deconstructing ideas, communicating simply and engaging customers, you will thrive in this position. In addition to excellent communication and listening skills, this position requires an enthusiasm for navigating sophisticated technology to meaningfully solve volunteer schedulers' problems.

You'll join a talented, dedicated, international team, passionate about doing meaningful work and building extraordinary products that people love. Our two flagship products, Ministry Scheduler Pro and Volunteer Scheduler Pro, are actively used by over 3,500 organizations to schedule over one million volunteers. Rotunda's mission is to help people do good things, and our unique culture is rooted in a set of shared values.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Become intimately familiar with the features and benefits of Rotunda's products.
  • Write and edit short and long form copy for our website, email campaigns, videos, blog posts, social media, print ads, brochures, Google Ads, and more.
  • Provide high-level framing when working with marketing and sales team members.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospective clients, uncovering challenges, providing solutions, and winning their business.
  • Fortify relationships with existing clients, offer guidance and support, and ensure they leverage any opportunities to benefit from expanded use of our services.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track and manage sales pipeline.
  • Help develop, hone, and debug sales systems and flows.
