Aktify is looking for a Sales and Revenue leader to join our team in our Lehi, Utah office. This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers to close new business, help with customer implementation, and support account management. The ideal candidate is results-driven, hungry for customer acquisition, and passionate about contributing to top-line revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate, promote, and sell Aktify's products and services - Strategically present functionality and key value propositions to prospective customers.
  • Develop and foster relationships - Maintain close communications with prospects to close sales and promote customer retention.
  • Meet and exceed targets - Achieve monthly and quarterly individual and team goals for new customer acquisition.
  • Track progress and results - Record prospect interactions and track goal attainment in the CRM system.
  • Identify decision makers - Aktify's product spans different departments within our customer's organizations. Aktify AE's need to quickly and efficiently identify decision makers as well as successfully navigate complex legal approval processes to win business.
  • Research and understand target market - Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and Aktify's overall market opportunity.

  • Drive customer outcomes, product adoption, and customer experience
  • Lead the technical assessment as part of the sales process

  • Reduce churn and drive new business growth through greater advocacy and reference ability

Requirements
  • 1+ years experience closing new business
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent ability to manage and build relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals
  • Advanced skills in communicating, selling, and negotiating
  • Demonstrated progressive management experience leading teams in a software company
  • Demonstrated progressive experience leading customer success managers, account management, or sales teams. Professional services experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience leading managers of teams in a SaaS or subscription enterprise software company
  • Proven experience leading teams, driving new and expansion sales, driving software adoption, and leveraging customer success best practices
  • Proven ability to develop strategies, translate them into initiatives and track successful delivery
  • Possesses a strong management presence and leadership ability, with communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate leaders and teams
  • Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, SalesForce preferred, Microsoft Office Suite, and G Suite

Ideal Candidate
  • Experienced B2B professional with proven success selling to sales and marketing leaders of large organizations.
  • 1+ years experience closing new business
  • Demonstrated operational excellence in analytical thinking, process development, and improvement, problem-solving, communication, delegation, and planning
  • Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Analytical experience or education
  • Loves working in a startup environment (wants to do the dirty work, lots of ambiguity, fast pace, adaptive, flexible, proactively covers bases, etc.)
  • Outward mindset - considers and cares about others first
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
