Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience while contributing to the overall success of the store. Duties • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. • Utilize effective sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, to maximize sales opportunities. • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed. • Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing. • Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Demonstrate proficiency in retail math to assist customers with pricing and promotions. • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Qualifications • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. • Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette. • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement. • A genuine interest in helping customers find the right products for their needs.
