Your responsibilities will include upselling products, conducting product demonstrations, and providing knowledgeable assistance in a grocery store environment. Duties • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. • Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement. • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor while ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction. • Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries. • Assist in training new staff members on sales techniques and store policies as needed. • Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels effectively and assist in stock management. Qualifications • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. • Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative when necessary. • Basic knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management tasks. • A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
