Sales Associate, Retail (Target)

DESCRIPTION

At quip, we design and deliver delightful products and services that keep your mouth healthy. 

You’ve seen our toothbrush and floss pick at Target - We are now looking for Sales Associates to work in Target stores to represent and be an ambassador quip brand and launch our new quip Aligners offering! 

The ideal candidate is energized by interactions with people, feels comfortable approaching and speaking with customers, and is excited about quip’s mission for perfect oral health for every mouth. You will become an expert on our product offerings and will be able to teach Target customers about quip Aligners – all while helping them jump start their Aligners journey. 

This role is a (3) month seasonal, part-time position with the potential to grow into a long term, full-time role. 

Hourly Rate: $23 per hour

This represents the anticipated hourly rate for this position. We carefully assess and consider several factors with each candidate, including location. role-related knowledge, experience and skills. Compensation may vary based on these considerations.

Candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends during peak customer hours. Expected schedule: Wednesday - Friday 2 PM- 7 PM Local Time and Saturday - Sunday 10 AM- 6 PM Local Time

At the moment we are hiring at the following locations in the Phoenix and Scottsdale Metro Areas:

• Educate Target customers about the quip brand and new quip Aligners 
• Be a subject expert matter on the new product offerings and the quip Brand, representing us (and recommending us!) to Target shoppers
• Collect contact information from interested customers so that our team of trained, Dental professionals can follow-up for a consultation
• Effectively communicate to ensure that all customers have a unique and memorable experience at every touch point with the brand

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of sales and/or customer support experience
• Prior experience working in a retail environment is a plus
• Flexible for weekend, evening shifts, and holiday shifts
• Strong people skills — you are friendly, empathetic, a good listener, and you’re invigorated by constant personal interaction
• Strong passion for customer happiness, retention and service quality
