Because Nextpoint is operating as an office-first organization, this role requires staff to be on-site in our San Francisco office and/or meeting with clients four days per week. What is an SA at Nextpoint?
As the SA at Nextpoint, you will help drive our sales prospecting efforts and begin your training for a sales career path at Nextpoint. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will work collaboratively with the sales, marketing, and client success teams to generate interest in Nextpoint with prospects and existing customers. You will also learn various sales techniques such as how to handle a discovery call, demo software, address objections so you become an integral part of the sales team.
You are a high-energy, self-motivated professional with sound business acumen, a curious mind, and natural sales instincts. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy the challenge(s) of designing and executing new campaigns and applying the learnings to the next initiative.
If you are successful in this role, the typical career path is to spend 1-2 years as a Sales Associate and then be promoted to Sales Executive where you would own your own territory and book of business.
We are looking for a candidate who is interested in a Hybrid role, based in San Francisco.
Role Responsibilities:
- Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
- Coordinate list building activities to ensure prospect data is relevant, accurate and complete
- Proactively reach out to prospects and customers via phone and email and create a great first impression
- Partner with our Sales Directors and Sales Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills
- Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute outbound marketing initiatives
- Maintain active prospect engagement and a healthy pipeline of new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
- Leverage CRM, calendars, and other project management tools
- Meet and exceed monthly activity goals
- Understand how to demo the Nextpoint software and deliver our value proposition
- Ability to travel as needed. Travel may include coming into the office for events, or going on-site to meet with clients
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in a sales or customer-facing role; prospecting experience preferred; SaaS experience highly preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated curiosity to learn about a new industry and product
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
