Job Description
The position of Inside Sales Consultant exists to engage with both existing and potential clients through telephone and video channels. By using these communication mediums, you strive to retain and grow current clients and attract new ones. This role plays a crucial part in the objectives of the Sales and Service Business Unit by contributing to revenue growth and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, experience, and engagement.
Reporting to Business Development Sales Manager, you collaborate closely with the other teams within the Inside Sales department based in Melbourne, which focuses specifically on small to medium-sized organisations with differing hiring requirements. Each of the four teams within Inside Sales caters to clients of varying sizes and complexities, with this team specialising in growing organisations.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to client requests, and objection handle through discovery questions and listening
- Provide tailored recommendations and solutions to address customer challenges and drive retention and loyalty
- Ability to develop instant connections at all levels within the customer's business from the initial conversation to establish rapport and drive trust
- Has a sound understanding of SEEK's product solutions, competitor landscape and general market and industry knowledge
- Uses basic internal/external data & insights to respond to customer needs
- Plans, coordinates and prioritises self to meet targets using SEEK systems.
Qualifications
- Skilled in negotiation and objection handling, with the ability to reach mutually beneficial agreements through discussions with internal and external partners, and effectively handling conflict and objections to ensure progress
- Proficient in account and relationship management and proven expertise in building customised, strong, and mutually beneficial relationships
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to use compelling arguments to gain agreement from others and to communicate and share business information through a structured narrative to connect, persuade, and sell to clients and customers
- Consistent track record of driving and achieving revenue and product growth targets.
