About the Role

JLLT's Commercial Enablement & Culture Team is looking for an intern to support our Sales Communications and Content team across several key team initiatives.

This intern will support our internal communications strategy, manage outreach communications to our global sales teams, write email cadences for our global Business Development Team, and help our content governance managers with various content projects. You will help develop, manage, and monitor the success of our sales outreach programs, and create/update high-quality, engaging, and conversion-centred content for business development.

For this internship, you should have a passion for written communication and emails, content management, and data, and should enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams from Enablement, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Content Marketing, and product experts to drive improvements in our sales content and sales email communications.

Key Responsibilities

This person will support two teams: our internal Communications team and our Content Governance team. In this role, you will:

• Write and proof-read sales-facing internal product content, editing for voice, tone, spelling, grammar,
• Write and proof-reach internal communications, leveraging our internal communications tool (Poppulo)

• Write and proof high-quality, engaging, conversion-centered content for our business development team for webinars, trade shows, and customer sponsored events
• Audit our content folders to ensure adherence to process
• Format new content into correct templates
• Learn Seismic and Poppulo, two sales enablement tools, to support back-end management
• Support sales activation activities in support of Marketing events and webinars

• Research best-in-class sales content and advise on ways to improve our materials
• Gain an understanding of our audiences, key calls to action, value propositions of differing marketing offers and events, and translate that information into engaging sales email cadences
• Research media coverage and industry trends in different global regions so our sales outreach is current, relevant, and localized

The ideal intern will be an excellent writer and editor with a detailed eye for consistency and a desire to support sales communications and outreach.

Program Details

• Beginning June 2023
• Length of program runs 8-10 weeks
• Full time (40 hours a week)

Example initiatives:

• Work with stakeholders to analyze outreach usage metrics by team and by individual to make informed recommendations regarding outreach improvements
• Write sales email cadences for an upcoming webinar
• Create a "webinar kick-off" deck that outlines all key information on an upcoming trade show, including cadences, customer offers, relevant content, etc. by geography
• Work with our technology enablement team to ensure our sales outreach systems adhere to best practices, dates, and naming conventions

Education and experience

• Be a willing learner who seeks to understand the overall concept of JLL Technologies, our brand, customers, product goals, and technology tools
• Experience writing effective and engaging content for email marketing or outreach programs, preferably in content writing, journalism, technical writing, business development, or enablement
• Experience working in Corporate Real Estate, Technology, or Software industries is a plus
• Basic understanding of email outreach practices and analytics
