Base Compensation Range is $40,000 - $70,000 Total compensation for role.

Job SummaryAre you looking for a great company to grow your skills with that is a recognized worldwide leader in HVAC and Building Automation? Trane is looking for a Pre-Construction Bid Coordinator in our Atlanta, GA location. In this incredible hybrid role, you will assist our Equipment Estimators and Account Managers by functioning as bid coordinator and administrative assistant to ensure the efficient operation of our plan and spec bid process for the commercial equipment sales department. If you have great organizational skills and can work in a fast-paced environment, then Trane wants to hear from you! HVAC or Construction experience a plus! ** This position offers a hybrid work model allowing both in-person and work at home schedules.**

  • Manages all bid coordinating activities for plan & spec projects (e.g., job notification to internal teams, electronic job file management, generate and maintain job opportunities within Salesforce, email proposals to customers)
  • Maintains our customer database (Salesforce)

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain required documents necessary in the estimating process for each job
  • Utilize cloud-based data management software to obtain necessary documents
  • Create and maintain electronic job folder for each job's documents
  • Perform a general review of mechanical plans schedules and specifications to qualify a project for bid preparation Generate and maintain job opportunities in Salesforce
  • Provide project notification and other relevant communication for all plan & spec bid jobs to the Sales Account Managers and Estimating Team
  • Transmit proposals based on each job's scheduled bid date and time to bidding customers
  • Coordinate with other Trane offices for projects bidding outside of our office area
  • Maintain customer database with correct account and contact information for current customers as well as adding new customers

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (required)
  • Functions effectively as part of a team in person and in a remote environment โ€ข Salesforce, HVAC or Construction experience a plus

This role has been designatedas Hybrid - Flex for yourday. While most work must bedone on-site, there is flexibilityto work remotely whenworkflow and priorities allow.*The Company reserves theright to modify this designationshould business needs require.
