The Sales Coordinator will support and work in tandem with the Sales Executives and Account Managers in maintaining and growing small business through CDPHP's broker distribution and direct sales channels. The incumbent shall serve as the broker's in-house liaison; coordinating broker and group specific problem resolution for all CDPHP products. The incumbent will work closely with all departments that interact with CDPHP brokers and employer groups, such as Membership & Billing, Member Services and Finance. The incumbent will be responsible for educating and promoting the usage of the online enrollment system to the brokers and employers. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of servicing CDPHP broker partners and direct groups including but not limited to answering telephone and email inquiries and any other service request while the Sales Executives and Account Managers are in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
  • New York State Life Accident and Health License required or obtained within 60 days of employment.
  • A minimum of two (2) year's experience in customer support, inside sales, telemarketing, or research recruitment highly desirable; outside sales experience a plus.
  • A minimum of two (2) year's experience in a sales or account management preferred.
  • Experience with database entry using Salesforce program is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to demonstrate strong industry knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Access to reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to a variety of sites across CDPHP service area if required.
  • Must have a high standard of accountability and demonstrate level of concern for work output; must enjoy working hard.
  • Resourceful, well-organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail-oriented.
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
