Sales Coordinator, Walmart Team

We are looking for a full-time, experienced and self-motivated Sales Coordinator to join our Sales, Walmart Team to provide sales support and coordination to the Walmart account

Hampton Products, located in south Orange County, CA, is a privately-owned, middle-market branded consumer products designer, developer, and marketer of innovative products in the security hardware, decorative hardware, storm and screen door hardware, and automotive accessories categories.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports the VP Sales Walmart for all customer account management matters.
• Works with internal cross functional partners in Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.
• New Item Creation and Maintenance in Retail Link (Item360)
• Assists in creating New Item Quotes in Retail Link (QMS)
• Ensures all items both in-store and online meet the Walmart content standards & works with internal teams on content creation.
• Maintains the Walmart item file for both in store and online, including uploading new content and copy found on Walmart.com.
• Manages Bazaarvoice sampling and content reviews for Walmart.com.
• Ensures timely maintenance of Domestic and Direct Import Purchase Orders
• Manages the CTL/UL testing process including completing and managing all testing applications as well as executing the item submission process and maintaining the UL/CTL Testing log.
• Manages UL/CTL testing failures, including working with internal teams to identify root cause and creation of corrective action plan.
• Assists in the development of customer presentation materials.
• Gathers and maintains competitive product information as needed.
• Assists in setting up and maintaining modulars in the Bentonville office.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business or related field, desired; and three years of experience and/or training in sales, marketing, or retail industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Aptitude for working with numbers and data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience managing others without direct authority is desired.
• The utmost attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Experience working in Walmart's Retail Link including Item360 is preferred.
