Job Summary:
The Sales Development Associate will play a fundamental role in helping achieve specific company objectives to increase production, increase the size of our agent base, retain insured customers and support agents. This individual will serve an important role of representing AssuranceAmerica as the point person in our corporate office and territories with command of the systems and procedures we use to bind policies and service accounts.
The Sales Development Associate must be passionate about the business, a competent team player, and able to work proactively with little supervision. Initial expectations would include completion of a 6 to 8 week training program in Atlanta.
Job Responsibilities:• Increase the sales of products of agency partners through account management.• Increase new agency appointments following an established model sales process (MSP) and a defined sales management cadence of phone calls, emails (and text when allowed)• Onboard and educate agents to use company platforms, policies and procedures.• Occasionally prospect new agents from inquiries received from company website, marketing campaigns and leads.• Use Zoom, MS Teams and other virtual platforms to engage with agencies.• Assist Sales Department with special projects such as product training and promotions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required• Bachelor's degree• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Willingness to work in a high-volume sales environment• Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
Preferred• Bilingual (English-Spanish)• Salesforce• Insurance experience
