The Role: 

We’re looking for a Sales Development Manager to hire, train, and develop our highly driven team of SDRs. This dynamic group is the first touch with prospective Carrot customers and is essential to growing our pipeline and our success as a company. You’ll join a fast-paced, iterative environment with people who believe the family-forming journey should be accessible and affordable to everyone who wants it or needs it. You’ll have a strong understanding of how best-in-class SDR teams can ignite a company's growth engine, and be laser-focused on setting your team up for success with precise targeting, out-of-the-box messaging, and scalable repetition.

The Team: 

Our current SDR team is a diverse group of individuals who are hungry and motivated to grow their careers here at Carrot. They are primarily focused on outbound efforts, generating high-quality meetings for their AE counterparts while managing strategic territories to help identify our best revenue opportunities. We use a variety of sales tools and strategy to accomplish our goals and are always looking for ways to drive efficiency using data. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years in an SDR/BDR role
  • 9+ months minimum leadership experience 
  • Directly managed at least 4+ SDRs
  • Consistent track record of 100+% quota attainment both as an individual contributor and team achievement 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate SDR activity metrics to business outcomes including booked meetings, pipeline, and revenue
  • Data-driven in your approach, utilizing data to improve sales development funnel KPIs
  • Knowledge and experience with best-in-class SDR tech stack across prospecting, outreach, CSM, call recording etc such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Salesloft, SFDC, and Gong
  • Comfortability with presentation skills, specifically around metrics for leadership reporting
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • People-first leadership qualities

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • You have helped 1+ SDRs on their career development journey into a new role
  • Prior experience as an Account Executive or similar closing role
  • Healthcare/Health Tech/Benefits background is a plus

Compensation: 

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position will range from $93,000 - $130,000. Actual compensation, including any applicable bonus or variable component, may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
