About The Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team!

You will work closely with marketing, sales, and revenue enablement to build out our business development function - hiring, training, and mentoring a growing team of BDRs.

This role reports directly to our VP of Marketing (yes, our SDR team sits under marketing). This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in Brooklyn, NY (where our headquarters is located) or anywhere else in the US.

As an SDR Manager, your day-to-day will include:

  • Led a team of business development representatives to qualify inbound leads, and outbound prospects, and schedule / qualify demos for the sales team.
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to identify target accounts, optimize lead generation campaigns, and ensure a seamless lead handoff to the sales team.
  • Defining and measuring key performance metrics to evaluate the success of SDR programs, and use that data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Training, mentoring, and motivating BDRs to achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure consistent and effective messaging throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in sales development and sales enablement.
  • Communicating regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on sales development activities, share insights and recommendations, and align your team’s goals with company objectives.

You're Likely to Succeed if

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • 2+ years of experience directly managing people (necessity)
  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles and experience developing go-to-market plans
  • You are both a self-starter and a team player
  • You are excited to learn and continuously improve
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited to help scale up our SDR team
