Sales Development Representative

About the Role
As the Sales Development Representative, you will identify and secure appointments by developing new prospects and qualify leads for the Sales team. You will actively seek out new sales prospects through proactive networking utilizing the tools provided. You will be responsible for sending personal and strategic messages via email, outbound phone calls, and social media to a set of named accounts. You must be able to research the company prospects quickly to identify possible opportunities and to identify the proper contacts within those organizations. You will have a keen understanding of Brivo's product offerings, the ability to secure a commitment to Brivo's solutions from prospects, and set appointments for the outside sales team.
In this role, you will also be expected to:
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.
- Effectively utilize the prospecting tools available to you to secure viable leads (i.e LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo,ConnectAndSell etc.)
- Update sales development activities and prospect interaction in Salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management and closed loop feedback.
- Drive leads through the sales process and turns over to the sales team at the point when an interest has been gained and a meeting, demo or presentation is required.
- Track leads turned over to the sales team to ensure that the outcome is properly recorded in Salesforce.com.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales appointment targets and converts.
- Work closely with Sales Management to develop targeted account lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive appointment setting for new business.
About You
- A self-starter with proven success in outbound cold-calling and appointment setting a must
- Hunter mentality that is willing to go the extra mile
- Pre-call planning, lead qualification and objection handling experience
- Ability to communicate Brivo’s value proposition to prospects
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proven track record achieving measurable goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system was required
- Driven, energetic with excellent phone skills, listening and writing skills
- Proficient in using Salesforce.com
- Have a deep understanding of how social media plays in business and the ability to use those tools
- Experience in the Multifamily industry is a plus
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience needed
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
