Details of the Role

  • Type of Work: Full-time
  • Location: San Diego/ Remote

High Level Responsibilities 

  • Consistently meeting quota for organizing a high volume of outbound leads through cold outreach.
  • Proactively strategizing customer outreach which results in responses and active communication.
  • Effectively qualifying leads by determining goodness of fit for our services, addressing pain points and setting the stage for a successful sales discussion.
  • Setting appointments with potential clients whose fit has been confirmed
  • Documenting all conversations so that the hand-off to Account Executive is seamless
  • Reporting individual results on a weekly basis
  • Keeping yourself up to date with any new service offerings

Day to day activities:

  • Utilize HubSpot CRM, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and account executives
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM or other CRM software
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes
