Who You Are
You are someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking the reins with your respective outreach goals. You will wear multiple hats and work closely with Sales and BD leadership to identify prospects. You will be the tip of the spear as we reach out and develop these relationships. In addition to supporting the Sales and BD staff on the prospecting and account development front. You will participate in the expansion of our OEM business as well as our emerging Fleet business. As the first SDR you will also play a key role in helping refine our sales process and motion for these key market segments.

Responsibilities
- Generate leads and build relationships
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
- Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
- Work cross functionally with BD, Marketing and Product
- Utilize SalesForce, and email to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers
- Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
Bonus
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes
