About the Role:
At Craft, the sales team is responsible for selling our innovative products to new and existing customers. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for understanding how our existing customers are leveraging Craft and seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. You will leverage modern sales methodologies with a healthy dose of creativity to find and communicate Craft’s value proposition to prospects. The SDR team at Craft balances the competitive nature of sales with a fun, team-oriented and supportive environment. Given how rapidly Craft is growing, there is no limit to the number of future career opportunities to consistently high-performing SDR’s.
What You'll Do:
- Join one of the fastest growing organizations in the company intelligence space to help drive rapid growth
- Learn from some of the very best sales leaders in Tech, who have joined Craft after leading teams at a number of fast-growing technology companies
- Actively identify and reach out to new prospective customers via multiple channels, set up meetings and pitch Craft to them
- Contact potential customers through cold calls and emailsIdentify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products and services
- Help to build long-term trusting relationships with customers
- Setup and manage meetings or calls between potential customers and account executives
- Report to the SDR Director on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results
- Challenge existing processes and products, proposing improvements to the management team
- Become an expert in the Craft product, competitive solutions, sales methodologies, and demand gen tools
- Receive weekly coaching and training sessions, and implement learnings to up-level existing prospecting skills
Who You Are:
- 1-2 years of professional experience working in technology sales, preferably as a BDR/SDR or Account Executive in a SaaS product company
- Has previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and outbound demand gen initiatives
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Hard worker, self-starter, independent, takes initiative, exceptional attention to detail
- Ambitious, with a desire to take on additional responsibilities and grow into new roles
- Clear thinker with excellent written and spoken communication in English
- Someone who isn’t afraid of the phone and loves to call and talk to prospective customers
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- Wants to work in a startup environment with minimum supervision, but receive hands on coaching Experience working with CRM software and Demand Generation tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is an advantage
