Our revolutionary electric, ventless, zero-emissions commercial coffee roaster does not require gas lines or expensive ventilation. The Bellwether roaster was designed to change the future of coffee, lower the carbon footprint of roasting, and deliver consistent, controllable roasts using artisan-crafted roast profiles. Our platform allows customers to choose and easily source green coffee from incredible farms around the world.
Position Summary
The Sales Development Representative(SDR) is responsible for actively managing Bellwether Coffee's sales pipeline. The position will grow the qualified lead pipeline for Sales Managers across both inbound and outbound efforts, working closely with the marketing and sales teams. Reporting into the VP of Marketing and Sales, the SDR's duties will include lead flow management, qualifying leads, prospect communications, and reporting with the goal of maximizing both near term and long term revenue for Bellwether.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage several hundred inbound leads per month
- Communicate via phone/email/text and providing information on Bellwether's product offering and business value
- Update fields in the CRM based on lead information and activities
- Qualify leads on most recent criteria and route to the appropriate sales manager
- Manage outbound and ABM (account-based marketing) activities to target and engage prospects that align with Bellwether's Ideal Customer Profile
- Collaborate with Marketing team to nurture leads through funnel until they engage with Sales Manager
- Develop processes for efficiency and impact to streamline the sales development function
- Support Bellwether sales events to engage with prospects (virtual and in-person)
- Meet or exceed quota for sales meetings booked
- Regularly provide status report to team; participate in performance and learnings meeting
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in sales (preferably B2B for SMB)
- Bachelor's degree in a marketing/sales related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated social/interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Independent self-starter with high sense of urgency and ownership
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process driven
- Familiarity with retail business
- Basic understanding of CRM and ESP systems (Hubspot, Salesforce)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time within the United States
- Comfort working in a fast paced environment, dealing with change, and collaborating closely with others
- Coffee industry experience a plus
