Job Description

Company Overview:Simulmedia is the leader in cross-channel TV advertising. We bring best-in-class data, science, software, and services to TV, streaming, and video games to deliver unparalleled simplicity, transparency, and effectiveness. With our TV+® platform, we can reach audiences on both linear and connected TV at guaranteed scale without wasteful duplication. And with our PlayerWON™ platform, we allow brands to extend their reach to connect with PC and console gamers.

Now, we’re launching a brand-new self-serve CTV Ad Manager designed to empower small and midsized businesses (SMBs) and independent agencies to access the power of TV advertising, making it as simple as running search or social campaigns. Join us as we bring this exciting new product to market and help businesses unlock the full potential of connected TV.

Position Overview:We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The ideal candidate is not only eager to make an impact by generating new business but is also passionate about customer discovery and providing feedback that will directly influence the development and direction of our product. You will be responsible for initiating conversations, building relationships, gathering insights, and helping us refine our product-market fit. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role where your input will be crucial in driving success.

Responsibilities:â—Ź Customer Discovery: Actively engage with SMBs and independent agencies to understand their challenges, needs, and pain points related to TV and CTV advertising. Your insights will help shape our product and go-to-market strategies.

â—Ź Lead Generation: Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through cold outreach (email, phone, social media) and at industry events.

â—Ź Qualification: Evaluate leads to determine how well their needs align with our product offerings.

â—Ź Collaborative Feedback: Share customer feedback and insights with product and growth marketing teams to help improve the product and identify opportunities for growth.

● Ownership: Take initiative in identifying new opportunities, managing a prospect pipeline, and proactively reporting progress to leadership. You’ll be the driver of your own success.

â—Ź Market Engagement: Attend expos, conferences, and events to meet potential customers, build connections, and actively initiate conversations that lead to new business opportunities.

â—Ź Pipeline Management: Keep detailed records of leads, customer interactions, and progress in our CRM system, ensuring alignment with our broader sales strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

â—Ź 0-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a strong desire to grow a career in sales and customer engagement.

● Outgoing Personality: Comfortable initiating conversations, both in person and over the phone, with potential customers. You’re driven by curiosity and the desire to connect.

â—Ź Curious & Analytical: You ask the right questions to uncover needs, and you can translate those insights into actionable strategies to inform product and sales approaches.

● Self-Motivated & Ownership Driven: You’re proactive, able to manage your time well, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. You take ownership of your role and your success.

● Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you’re adept at building relationships and articulating our product’s value. Familiarity with digital marketing channels (search, social, or TV advertising) is a plus.

Compensation:We’re required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances of each case, but a reasonable estimate of the current base range for this role is $50,000 - $70,000. Note that this range is specific to national metro areas, and offers take into account a wide variety of potential factors, including but not limited to skill, qualifications, accomplishments, experience, credentials, and business needs. Simulmedia offers competitive pay relative to its peers, plus a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive, and inclusive employee benefits.
