Sales Development Representative
Job Description
The Strategic Sales Development Representative will be responsible for growing new sales within several different industries at an enterprise level. The SDR will be responsible for increasing sales revenue by aggressively seeking new customers through various forms of lead generation including: Cold-Calling, inbound leads, referrals, networking, social selling etc.Â
The Candidate should be:
- An engaging and effective communicator
- Detail oriented, tenacious, responsible and self motivated
- Receptive to feedback and willingness to a fast-changing environment
- Active Listener - to prospects as well as management
- Experienced in cold-calling and engaging with the right prospects
- Identify, develop relationships, and schedule meetings with prospects.
- Strategize with Strategic Sales and Marketing to target prospect accounts at an enterprise level, helping to fill pipeline and develop overall skill-set
- 100 activities per day (50 calls/50 emails)
- Conduct high-level conversations with Key Players to address business needs.
- Follow Outreach sequences to target prospect accounts
- Continuously maintain and update Salesforce and Outreach
- Conduct on-going research to identify new leads, obtain contact information and begin targeting those prospects.
- Achieve monthly qualified lead/meeting quotas
- Strategic SDRs will utilize Salesforce, Demandbase, marketing automation efforts, and other Sales resources to qualify contacts, and ultimately give our strategic sales team more qualified opportunities for gaining new enterprise-level customers.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of enterprise-level sales or account development experience.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
