We’re searching for an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to join our team and support our growth. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated deal-maker who loves talking to people. This role is US-only. Applicants in other locations will not be considered.
This position is salaried and there is a bonus structure. We do not follow a commission structure.

Your responsibilities will include:

Â
- Educating prospects on Discourse by leveraging calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Setting meetings for decision makers & Enterprise Account Executives after qualifying lead
- Managing a pipeline of cold leads, regularly following up to increase the chances of setting meeting
- Tracking best practices and enhancing existing strategies as you grow within the role

We’re looking for someone who:

Â
- Has 1-3 years of experience in enterprise software or SAAS sales
- Experience developing and leading prospects by understanding and solving specific business issues
- Has a minimum of 1 year experience in an outbound sales or sales development position
- The ability to “drive a deal” and go beyond relationship management
- Outstanding leadership, relationship building, and influencing skills.
- A knack for implementing processes, technologies, and solutions for a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills whether it be on the phone, on instant messaging apps, video conferencing, email, or speaking in front of large groups
- An overwhelming level of enthusiasm for building relationships and delivering on promises
- A self-starter who has no problem taking feedback and coaching
- A time management guru who has the ability to prioritize what’s most important
