About The Role
Aztech IT have an exciting opportunity for a new and exciting position within our company with sales responsibility for developing new business opportunities for our IT services including Pro-active IT support, IT Security, Business Continuity, Cloud Services and Telephony offerings.
The successful candidate has an opportunity to establish a successful pipeline of opportunities for recurring revenue streams at the forefront of our new business and growth strategy.
The primary purpose of the position is to develop new business sales opportunities by securing qualified appointments for business development managers to attend and close. The position will be responsible for executing a sales strategy of generating, nurturing and creating new opportunities.
As a new business sales position, we are looking for an energetic, hungry, and tenacious business winner looking to make their mark in IT sales. This role would suit a candidate looking to develop a career in telesales with a view to progress into a customer facing new business role with huge potential.
This solution dictates a business led rather than technical sale and we are therefore looking for an individual who can demonstrate the ability to build rapport and sell to business owners and board level executives.
The role requires a candidate with exceptional communication skills both written and oral who is a fluent, confident, and persuasive presenter to all customer levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound telephone prospecting approximately 50-90 outbound calls a day.
- Cold e-mail outreach.
- Support marketing campaigns.
- New business prospecting both to existing target customer base and self-generated prospect targets.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Update and maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting using existing CRM system
Skills / Attributes Required.
- At least 6 months sales or telesales experience in a B2B business environment, ideally in an IT or technology related industry/sector.
- Strong skills in use of Microsoft Office,
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.

Package Details
- Salary is up to £25k pa dependent on experience.
- Commission is paid for each qualified appointment that is booked.
- 24 Days Holiday Increasing with 2 & 3 years service plus 1 day off for your birthday each year
- The hours of work are 37.5 per week.
- Based out of our Milton Keynes Office.
