Sales Development Representative
As an Outbound Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities in mid-market and enterprise accounts for the Employer Direct Healthcare Team. This position lays the foundation for a successful sales career in healthcare.
Location: Dallas office - Hybrid schedule with minimum of 3 days in office per week.
Responsibilities and Duties
- As an outbound Sales Development Representative, you will be prospecting into mid-market and enterprise accounts to secure meetings, and to identify quality sales opportunities
- Research accounts, identify key personas, generate interest and develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage and respond to inbound leads meeting internal SLA's and response times to quickly meet with prospects
- Provide prospects with information about the SurgeryPlus product and value it creates for employers and their members
- Conduct introductory meetings with decision makers from mid-market and enterprise organizations to gauge their interest in SurgeryPlus
- Collaborate closely with mid-market and enterprise sales teams
- Learn, leverage and help evolve our opportunity qualification and pipeline creation process
- Meet and exceed quarterly quota to ensure pipeline objectives, with the support of managers and teammates who are committed to your success
Requirements
- 6+ months of sales experience, either in a Sales Development, Account Executive, Business Development, internship, or other related capacity
- Experience interacting with customers and prospects, conducting discovery calls and identifying sales opportunities
Strong candidates will have:
- Passion for sales and the desire to excel
- Competitive team player
- Hard working attitude, and willingness to perform high volume of daily activities such as calls and emails
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in healthcare or digital health
- Proficiency in Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Zoominfo and other prospecting tools
