Sales Development Representative

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this role will become an ambassador for Mantra, spreading the word about our solution and service to various personas influential to the decisions regarding students’ mental health across higher education institutions. We look forward to meeting ambitious self-starters comfortable with making connections and qualifying prospects interested in moving from direct service to the digital health space. We're excited about candidates from all backgrounds who are passionate about our mission to make mental healthcare accessible and available to young adult students in the U.S.

The Sales Development Representative will:

• Identify key decision-makers and organizational structures to map out and build a strong network across higher education
• Learn about campus needs around mental healthcare and introduce Mantra’s solutions to help solve them
• Identify, prospect and qualify targets with an emphasis on organically sharing Mantra’s vision
• Evangelize the shared mission of democratizing access to evidence-based mental healthcare for university students across hundreds of institutions
• Work in tandem with Regional Directors on shared objectives and goals
• Report directly into the sales leadership team

• 2+ years experience in consultative sales development (higher education preferred)
• Experience with complex enterprise sales cycles
• Easily makes connections and is energized by meeting new people
• College Degree in psychology, sociology, or social work a plus
• A true self-starter with a knack for creative problem-solving targeting a growth opportunity
• A passion for mental health and equity within higher education

Mantra Health is a digital mental health clinic on a mission to improve access to mental healthcare for young adults through clinical services, software, and design. Since our founding in 2018, we've built a comprehensive treatment service for young adults with various mental health conditions. We've raised over $27 million to work with students at universities and colleges across the country such as MIT, Cornell, and the University of Minnesota. Our students see clinically significant differences in their mental health during treatment with us, with nearly two-thirds of students stating that Mantra's program helped them stay in school.

The salary range for this position is $60-70K + variable ($35K target)
