Our world-class sales organization is looking for self-motivated teammates with high social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling to accelerate our growth as we scale rapidly! Individuals who are eager to learn, embrace challenges, and passionate about succeeding will thrive at Bluevine. Our Sales Development Representatives act as an initial point of contact with prospects, are responsible for hunting and qualifying leads, and also owning full-cycle selling for certain types of opportunities generated. This is an ideal role for an experienced SDR who is eager and ready to make the move to AE in the next 1+ years. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Source new sales opportunities through phone-based outbound outreach
  • Qualify & convert prospects through consultative selling 
  • Grow top of sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns
  • Manage your pipeline to ensure assigned accounts are receiving proper attention through follow up calls and emails.
  • Help business owners evaluate, apply for, and begin using Bluevine Business Banking 
  • Grow the number of SMB owners using Bluevine’s banking platform by owning full-cycle selling outcomes

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • 1+ years in sales focused on small and medium businesses (SMBs), ideally within financial services, SaaS, or a startup 
  • Prior CRM experience (preferably Salesforce)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills and energetic phone presence
  • Strong level of empathy. We aim to be loved by our customers and you will be integral in creating the first impression of Bluevine.
  • High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes
  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis
  • Deep interest in understanding business challenges
  • Sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year university strongly preferred

New Hire Base Salary Range: $39,960-$47,940
New Hire On-Target Earnings (i.e. Base Salary plus Commissions, if achieved) Range: $66,600.00 - $79,900.00
