Sales Development Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a sales development representative (SDR) to develop and support a sales pipeline for our solutions across a number of industrial applications. In this role, you will be a critical member of our growing marketing organization, focusing on building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with sales, prospects, customers, and partners.
As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales representatives for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our solutions in a compelling way.
Day to day activities:
- Follow up on leads to drive initial customer engagement via email and phone
- Arrange and present introductory calls to qualify opportunities and share background of Boston Dynamics with prospects
- Schedule on-site demonstrations for Sales Managers
- Partner with Sales Managers to identify and engage with strategic accounts within key industries
- Facilitate introductory demonstrations when required
- Maintain pipeline of prospects and maintain regular communication
- Participate in customer-facing video and phone calls
- Understand and be able to communicate the vision for Boston Dynamics robotics solutions
- Assist in back office support to include preparing quotes and follow up documentation
Preferences and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 year of sales experience in a technology environment preferred
- Technically savvy with demonstrated ability to learn and explain new technology
- Thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Curious and able to understand a wide range of industry applications
