The Role

The Momos USA Sales team is looking for a stellar Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel qualified deals for the USA business. You and your team's mandate is to sell the Momos platform at scale, to a large variety of F&B businesses to build a strong pipeline of potential clients to whom the Account Executive/ Business Development team will pitch.

As part of the mandate above, you and the sales development team will be responsible for sourcing leads/ contacts and reaching out to them. We are looking for someone who is able to both position the Momos platform well across outreach channels and collaterals, as well as someone who possesses a keen sense of understanding gaps in the sales team and builds workflows to solve for scalability and sustainability. The ideal candidate is also relentlessly hungry to help the team hit their targets, and is prepared to take on the challenges and opportunities that come from working in a fast paced, early stage startup.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and finding new leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, responsible for driving B2B sales.
  • Ability to conduct cold calls, and send convincing and personalised mass emails with the goal to schedule pitches to sell Momos to restaurants in the US.
  • Exceed sales targets & performance based goals while working independently.
  • Develop strong relationships with new potential customers & Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
  • Reach out to potential customers effectively to generate conversations and pitches in the US market
  • Maintain and manage an active pipeline with thousands of leads.
  • Ability to wear the customer's shoes and imagine yourself in the customer's position.
  • Report to the Sales Manager on sales results.

Requirements

Ideal Background

  • 2-4 years of relevant sales experience, managing a quota or quarterly revenue target.
  • A relationship builder with the ability to make connections with anyone.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
