Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative will report to the Sales Operations Manager and will work with sales reps and sales managers to contact, qualify, and triage leads, prospect externally into assigned markets and territories, and ensure high fidelity data in our CRM. This individual will bring cold-calling and sales experience to help prospects connect with the right stakeholders and resources at Juvare quickly, and for our sales team to have the most high-impact conversations possible.

Our ideal candidate is a self-started and highly motivated to succeed in a sales career and develop expertise in emergency preparedness and response and public health. This individual must be a quick learner and comfortable in working relatively independently.

Reports to: Sales Operations Manager

Responsibilities

In your role as a Sales Development Representative, you will

  • Call and email leads and contacts to schedule introductory calls or demonstrations with sales reps.
  • Harvest new leads through ZoomInfo and LinkedIn
  • Recruit leads and contacts to attend digital or live events via calls, emails, and marketing campaign follow-up.
  • Meet with internal sales reps weekly to discuss current market trends
  • Be accountable for meeting demonstration and meeting attendee goals.
  • Prepare for prospect calls including company and person research.
  • Update and manage target lists.
  • Maintain data accuracy in Salesforce.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Previous cold calling experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb listening skills: you must understand objections and defeat them by turning skeptics into ecstatic new customers.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to work relatively independently.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
