Sales Development Representative I
Job Description
The Sales Development Representative I (SDR) will be responsible for growing new sales within several different industries. The SDR will be responsible for increasing sales revenue by aggressively seeking new customers through various forms of lead generation including: Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL's), cold calling, inbound leads, referrals, networking, social selling etc. They will also be tasked with handling inbound calls and chats to the company and routing them to the appropriate Account Executives.Â
The Candidate should be:
- An engaging and effective communicator
- Detail oriented, tenacious, responsible and self motivated
- Receptive to feedback and willingness to a fast-changing environment
- Active Listener - to prospects as well as management
- Experienced in cold-calling and engaging with the right prospects
- Identify, develop relationships, and schedule meetings with prospects.
- Strategize with Sales and Marketing to target prospect accounts, helping to fill pipeline and develop overall skill-set
- Conduct high-level conversations with Key Players to address business needs.
- Follow Outreach sequences to target prospect accounts
- Continuously maintain and update Salesforce and Outreach
- Conduct on-going research to identify new leads, obtain contact information and begin targeting those prospects.
- Achieve monthly qualified lead/meeting quotas
- SDRs will utilize Salesforce and other marketing automation efforts to qualify contacts, and ultimately give our sales team more qualified opportunities for gaining new customers.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
- Minimum 1 year of sales development experience, with a history of exceeding sales quota
- Proficiency with sales software including Salesforce and Outreach
- Experience in the SaaS industry
- Ability to learn new software quickly
- Have experience prospecting with and without sales applicationsÂ
- Prior experience as a sales/business development rep with a track record of achieving sales quota
- This position is eligible for benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision, flexible PTO
- Hybrid work schedule (must be based in Atlanta, GA): In-Office Tuesday's & Wednesday's/ Remote the rest of the week
