Sales Development Representative Manager
Job Description
About the Position:
The SDR Manager is a vital part of our Client Success team, providing ongoing SDR management across several clients. An SDR manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of demandDrive SDRs and their production on our client projects. They will be the main point of contact for SDRs and are responsible for ongoing training (or coordinating training sessions with our training team), monitoring SDR activity levels, and lead production.
The SDR manager will also be responsible for account management of our client programs, which will entail delivering weekly reports to clients highlighting SDR activity and lead production, as well as executing weekly or bi-weekly meetings with clients. The SDR manager will report to the Senior Director of the Client Success team. The Senior Director will provide additional client management support specifically in the area of client strategy, initially developing and implementing the client protocol based on client lane, as well as monthly executive reviews with each client. The SDR manager will be responsible for implementing any strategy changes developed by the Senior Director team.
The SDR manager will be supported by the Sales Ops team, which will provide all data for weekly reports, help build dashboards and reports, and provide any support related to client requests involving CRM/tools integration and other sales ops tasks.
The performance of an SDR manager will be measured by both the performance of their SDR teams (both activity levels and overall lead production) and by client retention. 50/50 split
Responsibilities:
SDR management:
- Meeting with & training SDRs on a consistent basis
- Monitoring SDR activity levels and lead production and addressing any issues immediately.
- Executing call and observation sessions with SDRs to identify any issues with SDR processes
- Executing pipeline reviews with SDRs, providing real-time coaching to convert leads
- Providing quarterly performance reviews of SDRs
- Pulling and importing lists as needed to support SDR efforts, and creating list views
- Providing guidance to the Sales Ops team to execute any salesforce-related tasks (outside of importing lists and creating list views) like report and dashboard building, or other technical tasks
Account Management:
- Receiving client weekly (or bi-weekly) reports from the Sales Ops team and filling in any qualitative information that might be required.
- Delivering the weekly (or bi-weekly report) on client calls.
- Creating reports and dashboards using the clientβs CRM and other tools to support the inside sales process, as defined by the protocol developed by the Senior Director (can use Sales Ops team as needed for this)
- Executing any changes to strategy as defined by the Senior Director
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience managing SDR teams (preferably SaaS)
- Experience with SaaS + CRM Software
- CRM Software proficiency
- Ability to work independently and amongst a team
- Excellent Management+Leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
