Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Sales Development Representative to join our Red Hat team. As a key member of the Sales Development team you will play a critical role in driving market adoption of Red Hatโ€™s products and solutions.
  • We are searching for someone who is passionate about customer success and brings a deep understanding of sales and customer engagement.
  • In this role you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with new potential customers providing sales support and driving customer adoption.
  • You will use your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with customers and understand their needs.
  • To be successful in this role you must have a solid understanding of the technology industry and be able to effectively present Red Hatโ€™s solutions.
  • You should have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Additionally you should be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 1-3 years of outbound sales experience
  • Hunter Mentality
  • Strong ability to learn new technology and ramp-up quickly
  • Ability to work in high-energy sales team environment as a team player
  • Positive and energetic phone skills excellent listening skills and strong writing skills
  • Ability to establish rapport quickly and effectively with C-Level executives


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Direct sales experience preferred
  • Previous technology sales
