Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales Development team. Reporting directly to the Sales Development Manager, this role will work closely with sales leaders and field sales representatives. This role will help build qualified sales opportunities for our Enterprise field sales teams. The person in this role will contact prospects and follow-up on inbound leads to develop sales opportunities. There will also be an Outbound Prospecting component, as well. We are looking for individuals with a passion for winning and proven success in inside sales.

Responsibilities:

Here are the main duties of the SDR:

  • Develop new business via telephone, email, and social media to introduce the Blackhawk Network products, solutions, and services, and identify appropriate buyers within the target market
  • Proactively cold-call and email into prospect accounts from a prioritized target list
  • Partner with field sales on setting up introductory calls with the prospect and perform a lead hand off
  • Support strategic marketing campaigns with scripted outreach, and inbound lead follow up.
  • Support strategic trade shows/industry events with appointment setting at industry events (some travel to events is required)
  • Collaborate with demand generation team members as needed to plan, draft, and execute outbound communication cadences. Reviews plans with manager prior to execution.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by continuously engaging them with personalized communications, such as marketing content (i.e., whitepapers), and company news to move opportunities through the sales funnel to sales acceptance
  • Work closely and meet regularly with the sales stakeholders on account strategies, prioritization, lead hand off and follow up
  • Utilize CRM system and SalesLoft to accurately record all activities, route leads, and coordinate lead acceptance management process
  • Use data in CRM and available tools such as Marketo, LinkedIn and others to understand prospect and account backgrounds to successfully personalize communications

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Inside Sales or Sales Development experience ideally at a software or technology company. Experience in the payments, incentives, healthcare, loyalty, and marketing industries is ideal.
  • Additional experience in marketing, sales, business development, lead generation, and lead management is a plus
  • Must be able to collect information quickly and effectively on a company and navigate to the correct person
  • Must be able to quickly articulate business benefits and functionality of B2B solutions and services at a high level
  • Must be able to handle objections and ask probing questions that surface business pain and sales opportunities
  • Must be driven to reach personal and team pipeline generation goals
  • Must have experience using a CRM, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience with 6Sense, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, Salesloft preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills - articulate, concise, and persuasive
  • Positive, upbeat, and aggressive personality is required
  • College degree is preferred

Benefits:

OTE for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota): $100,000
