WHO YOU ARE...
The Maxwell SDR role holds an important position at the top of the sales funnel for the entire company. The SDR is often our customer’s first experience with Maxwell so you need to be able to make a great first impression to earn the right to book a meeting and identify what the appropriate next steps should be. The SDR owns top of funnel engagement and metrics to help drive pipeline and sales growth.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…
- Drive Maxwell’s revenue growth through high quality and high quantity cold calls, emails, etc with a focus on setting appointments for the sales teamÂ
- Research prospect contact information and best ways to get in touch with themÂ
- Educate prospects on Maxwell’s product offering of digital mortgage solutions and service offerings
- Work closely with account executives, marketing, and customer success on various projects that are in support of the entire sales teamÂ
- Maintain accurate notes and activity in SalesForce CRM and other tech stack tools
- Have a significant impact on the growth of our business through prospecting, setting meetings, and interaction with Account Executives and Customer Success
- Partnering with internal resources to learn and grow into your sales career
- Performs other job-related duties as assignedÂ
IDEALLY YOU’LL HAVE...
- 1+ year prior sales experience (bonus points for prior software/tech sales/ mortgage experience)Â
- Mortgage industry knowledge is not required, but a huge plus!
- Results Oriented Hunter: you know what it takes to succeed and win and you are willing to grind it out day in and day out to create the desired outcomesÂ
- Track record of top performance: organizational skills to handle a high lead flow and should have a strong interest in advancing his/her career in sales
- Positive attitude: trained in effective opportunity discovery and an ability to speak/sell to prospect pain pointsÂ
- Self starter: need little guidance and own targets and projects from beginning to end with exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Intelligent and articulate: with excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Naturally curious: you have a passion for learning new things and understanding what makes our customers successfulÂ

Our target salary range for this position is $60,000 base, plus $30,000 on-target commission.Â
