About the job

We are looking for someone to lead as a player-coach. Apply if you’re motivated by people’s success and able to assist with developing your peers while still maintaining deliverables as an individual contributor. Although you will not be directly managing team members, you’ll be responsible for helping your fellow SDRs continue to develop as top performers. 

This position offers the opportunity to drive a meaningful impact on the SDR org while also learning basic management skills. The best candidate will have top performer status; someone with a growth mindset, draws the owl, empowers others, and solves problems.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be involved in all or some of the following responsibilities:

  • Lead one team meeting each week that you and your manager agree upon
  • Help strengthen team performance by contributing best practices in team meetings and leading enablement sessions specific to your team’s needs
  • Act as a culture tenant, voice concerns made by peers with ideas on how to improve, and own team-specific activity blitzes on a weekly basis
  • Leverage Pathlight to meet 1:1 with SDRs weekly that your manager identifies on your team to assist with pipeline building activities, experiment with new tactics, and bring new scalable perspectives to prospecting in FY 2022
  • Take on additional responsibilities by developing and leading a project from start to finish
  • Participate in manager training sessions provided by Twilio which can include, but not limited to LifeLabs, Lead @ Trainings, and Interview Trainings
  • Assist with new hire onboarding duties
  • Act as an accountability partner within your team to help drive daily/weekly/monthly KPIs as prescribed by sales leadership

Qualifications

Required:

  • Tenured SDR of at least 6 months (min. 4 months on OB if an SDR was promoted from IB > OB)
  • Successfully achieved an average of 90% quota attainment over the past 3 months
  • A rating of “Strong” or above in their most recent performance review 
  • Proven ability to articulate Segment general architecture with examples of simplifying complex concepts with end users either in current role or in a prior position
  • Embodies positive attitude, strong work ethic, organization skills, and has a team oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated strong capabilities in understanding internal selling processes and methodologies
  • Strong desire to move into a leadership position with prior examples of core leadership competencies in current role or in a prior position

Location:

This position will be based remotely in Singapore.
