Sales Director

Your Role:

As a member of the Miltenyi Biotec Sales team, you will work closely with regional sales leadership to drive sales growth as well as be responsible for developing sales strategies and tactical plans for flow cytometry and imaging instrument portfolios. You will apply your proven expertise to lead while aligning sales strategies with the corporate mission. Furthermore, you will work collaboratively with other key departments in the organization to support strategic sales initiatives. You will develop budgets, ensure that they are being adhered to, perform budget follow-up for pertinent stakeholders and recommend actions in an effort to achieve expected results. Last but not least, your responsibilities will include overseeing the sales group to ensure high quality standards are maintained and will set expectations on project team performance, which will drive the continuing business success of Miltenyi Biotec as a whole.

Requirements:

• B.S. or B.A. degree from a four-year college or university;at least 10 years' experience in sales, including at least 5 years' experience in sales management in the life sciences tools industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess a valid driver's license, evidence of insurance/ insurability, and ability to receive appropriate clearance to access restricted government accounts.
• Preferably a minimum of 2 years' experience in additional commercial roles such as marketing, business development, or senior leadership as defined as managing managers.

This job requires the person to be mobile to visit customer sites. Due to the travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements of nature.
