Sales Director, ESG Products (Hybrid- Flexible options)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sales team for a dynamic business in period of growth and expansion. We are looking for a Sales Director, with proven problem-solving, listening and communication skills, a demonstrated ability to deliver Product stories and an informed and confident client experience.
The Director is responsible for helping our sales organization drive growth in our ESG product suite and creating and maintaining a positive client experience with our ESG data and analytics tools. He/She is an essential factor in the product success which will also include, partnering with technology, client services, and operations to ensure we are delivering value to our clients.
The successful candidate will be joining the Broadridge Corporate Issuer Product Sales team during a time of growth and product innovation. This role is important to the Issuer segment and contributes to the growth and success of the company's largest business unit, Investor Communication Services (ICS).
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities:
- Be the Subject Matter Expert to our internal and external clients.
- Partner and or Lead sales efforts in conjunction with the Issue sales and marketing organization.
- Work closely with marketing on product positioning.
- Work closely with client services/operations on client implementation.
- Provide pipeline and status reports to management on an ongoing basis, stating progress, risks and issues.
- Communicate product's value proposition as part of product support efforts.
- Work side-by-side with sales to ensure that the sales teams understand our product features and value proposition and can clearly articulate our story in a compelling way through effective sales enablement strategy and tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years industry experience, preferable in a product and/or account management environment
- ESG knowledge. Ability to clearly articulate our value proposition and capabilities through a combination of deep industry knowledge and understanding of Broadridge's capabilities within the segment
- Must be familiar with elements of strategy formulation, evaluation, and launch as well as the acquisition/strategic partnership process including: target identification, assessment, business case development, contract negotiation, and integration
- Must be committed to producing extremely high-quality work product, as this will be the basis for Broadridge's investment decisions; possess a high energy level; demonstrate the "will to win", maintaining absolute professional discretion; and have a high level of integrity and being a solid team player
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver high quality execution; results oriented
- Capable of evaluating and responding to client needs and challenges, and identifying and making considered recommendations for product enhancements
- Strong client centric approach to product role: building client facing relationships and helping understand current and future needs
- Strong oral and written skills; ability to communicates effectively across internal functions operations and with clients
- High aptitude for contributing to a culture of high-performance and product management excellence
