This leadership role focuses on driving revenue growth and expanding strategic relationships within top-tier financial institutions. The position oversees a high-performing sales team responsible for new business acquisition and growth of existing accounts across complex enterprise environments. It combines strategic territory planning, deal execution, and executive-level client engagement. The role requires strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of financial services ecosystems, and the ability to guide teams through complex sales cycles. You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategy, improving pipeline performance, and ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets. This is a highly visible leadership position that blends hands-on sales leadership with organizational influence across cross-functional stakeholders.

Accountabilities

This role is responsible for leading a sales organization focused on acquiring and growing business within large financial institutions, ensuring consistent revenue performance and strategic execution across the territory.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to drive net-new business and expansion within assigned financial services accounts
  • Own territory strategy, forecasting, pipeline management, and overall sales execution against revenue targets
  • Drive deal strategy, negotiation, and contract execution in collaboration with internal legal, product, and operations teams
  • Build and execute annual territory plans aligned with business objectives and growth priorities
  • Act as an escalation point for key accounts, ensuring customer success and retention across complex engagements
  • Recruit, retain, and develop top sales talent while strengthening overall team performance and capability
  • Partner cross-functionally to align solutions with client needs and ensure successful delivery of commercial commitments
  • Requirements

    This role requires a strong background in enterprise sales leadership within financial services or related B2B technology environments, with proven success managing complex deal cycles and high-performing teams.

    • 8+ years of experience in sales or sales leadership, preferably within financial services, payments, or enterprise software
    • Proven ability to lead complex B2B sales cycles including prospecting, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing
    • Strong understanding of financial services ecosystems, payment systems, and enterprise integration models
    • Demonstrated success in managing and growing high-performing sales teams
    • Strong strategic thinking, forecasting, and territory planning capabilities
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills at executive level
    • Ability to analyze business performance metrics and translate insights into actionable sales strategies
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
