Team: Account Executive
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sales Director in Spain.
This role offers the chance to lead revenue growth and market expansion in the Spanish retail and e-commerce sector. You will own the full sales cycle for high-value enterprise and mid-market clients, driving both new business and long-term partnerships. The position combines hands-on selling with strategic leadership, requiring deep market expertise and the ability to influence key decision-makers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to shape go-to-market strategies and optimize customer journeys. This is a fully remote role, giving you autonomy and flexibility while operating in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Your work will directly impact revenue, brand presence, and the company’s expansion in a key European market.
Accountabilities:
- Own the Spanish market, building and executing a go-to-market strategy for retail and e-commerce clients.
- Drive new ARR by managing the entire sales cycle — prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and close — using a value-based selling approach.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities in collaboration with Marketing.
- Lead complex enterprise and mid-market deals, navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees.
- Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and positioning.
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handovers and identify expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to improve product-market fit and unlock growth.
- Accurately forecast sales performance and communicate risks, opportunities, and results to leadership.
- Represent the organization externally at key industry events, customer meetings, and relevant occasions.
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record in SaaS and consultative selling.
- Deep understanding of the Spanish retail and e-commerce market, including key players, buying cycles, and value drivers.
- Fluent Spanish (native or near-native) and strong English communication skills.
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise and mid-market deals from pipeline to close.
- Consistently achieved and exceeded revenue targets in competitive markets.
- Strategic thinker able to translate customer challenges into business outcomes and long-term partnerships.
- Comfortable working fully remote and async, using modern sales enablement tools like HubSpot, Slack, and Zoom.
- Self-starter with high ownership, pace, and a hands-on approach to selling and leadership.
