The Role

As a Sales Director at Amperity, you will lead a motivated strike team of internal technical & business strategists in pursuit of driving significant new business growth within your region. You will be a leader, externally and internally, who ensures predictable revenue attainment and market penetration with Amperity’s solution for Paid Media. We expect you to play a role in helping build the company culturally, financially, and technically.

Responsibilities
  • Build your business. Construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals.
  • Regularly communicate traction, friction, and feedback from the field to leadership, product, product marketing, and your go-to-market peers.
  • Be a subject matter expert on all things AdTech related and specifically on how Amperity’s solution empowers paid media teams to win
  • Drive continuous collaboration, testing, and iterating with your BDR, Sales Engineer, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Adopt and master the use of our Sales Process, MEDDPICC across your business.
About You
  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in a SaaS domain.
  • 4+ years of selling AdTech solutions, with a preference for prior DMP sales experience.
  • Experience selling into the paid and digital media practices within the B2C Fortune 500.  Chief Digital Officers, etc. Including experiences such as selling digital marketing, business intelligence, analytics, or data platform solutions. 
  • In-depth understanding of the Ad Tech "Identity" ecosystem, such as Liveramp, Acxiom, Merkle, etc
  • Proven track record of aligning with Agencies, SIs, and Activation Platform partners
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing stacks, their evolution, and related impact on paid media and digital practices.
  • Proven background in partnering with Product Management and Product Marketing
  • Ability to support a variety of industry verticals, with emphasis on Retail, Travel & Hospitality, QSR and FINS
  • Track record of exceeding quota in a high-growth, performance-oriented organization.
  • Excellent aptitude for team building, coaching, motivating, strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, and sales methodologies.
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and the evolving media landscape.
  • Compelling presentation skills with a natural ability to hold strategic conversations at the executive level.
  • Ensure highly productive client relationships and strategic partnerships within the region
Remote Available

Amperity has headquarters in Seattle and NYC. We are also currently hiring in CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, TX (Subject to change). 

Compensation

Base Salary:  $200,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Other Cash Incentives: For many of our positions, other cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options:  The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
