Job Description

The Sales Effectiveness Manager works with Sales Management, Sales Operations, Training and/or Marketing to develop and implement programs to improve both the quality and quantity of sales activities, and sales of company products, during each stage of the customer buying process. Develops measurement models and uses diagnostic tools to help identify sales performance indicators, key areas of opportunity and sales force training needs.

Recommends strategic priorities, establishes sales force performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods in order to maintain and improve the company's competitive advantage in the market. May evaluate and design sales incentive plans in line with analyses. Makes recommendations for allocating marketing and sales force resources, as well as promoting customer targeting activities and territory management. Recommends new training programs to fill competency gaps. Focus on software solutions, services, and products.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and drive execution on the portfolio of key programs & projects that enable our company's growth strategy and promote simplicity and standardization.
  • Ensuring participation from cross-functional contributors, on time execution, decision-making, roadblock removal, and escalations as needed.
  • Drive regular change management and communication with creativity and energy to ensure efforts are being deployed and adopted effectively and consistently by the global regions and other stakeholder functions.
  • Coordinate and ensure readiness with Sales Planning experts and Business Unit to align team to standard pay plans, tools and processes
  • Develop a measurement and evaluation method to regularly assess program strengths, analyze program risks, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with Sales Planning Director to help team meet key objectives, act as Chief of staff for the Sales Planning organization
  • Partner with stakeholders across Commercial Operations and GSM to ensure Sales Planning is using best practices in the way we work

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Travel Requirements: 10% of year, 1-2 trips per year with overnights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technical or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years experience in project management and or program management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Demonstrated capability to work on and prioritize multiple types of activities at one time.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead with influence
  • Pro-active, outgoing, positive, and friendly

The base salary compensation range for this role in California, Colorado, New York, New Jersey, Maine & Washington State is $104,640.00 to $156,960.00 with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience. Our company benefits for the US can be found here
