Sales Enablement is a newly designed unit for Mintel and is fast becoming a critical part of the commercial organization. The team partners with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Americas and Global Mintel organization to improve efficiency and effectiveness in how Mintel goes to market. Sales Enablement drives to ensure company goals are met and salespeople reach their potential.

The Sales Enablement Content Specialist will work closely with the sales, marketing and revenue teams to develop and produce high-quality sales enablement content that helps drive commercial outcomes, largely through email copywriting, sales decks, and other collateral.  The core function of the role will be to create compelling written, and sometimes visual, content that drives positive response and successful commercial outcomes.  The core competencies will be around copywriting, content design and B2B marketing.

We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B copywriting, Sales Enablement Content, Marketing content or comedy/creative creative writing. 


Sales Enablement Content Specialist Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B copywriting, Sales Enablement Content creation, Marketing content creating, and/or creative writing
  • Strong understanding of content practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to keep abreast of content and industry trends and advancements in technology

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Working Cross-Functionally: Working collaboratively alongside Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Leadership to define and prioritize the correct short-term and long-term strategies.
  • Serving as an Expert: Functioning as a go-to expert on effective outreach copy and content
  • Improving Meeting Acquisition: Creating content and materials to help Mintel’s sales team set more meetings with target clients, ultimately leading to more sales
  • Improving Response Rates: Developing content strategies to help improve positive response rates via email, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
  • Strategically Aligning with Business Needs: This individual should be strategic and able to design initiatives and programs that will assist with revenue acquisition, retention, and growth.
  • Taking Part in Discussions with Senior Leadership This individual should feel comfortable working with senior leadership on emerging strategic initiatives
  • Maintaining Relationships with External Leaders: Working closely with leaders from outside of Mintel to learn industry best practices and bring initiatives in-house
  • Using Data to Adjust Strategy: Consistent monitoring of data effectiveness within the Sales Engagement Platform (Salesloft, Outreach, Groove, etc.) and Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo) to understand what’s working, what’s not and what to do about it
  • Research: Researching content, industry trends, and undersetting key audience personas to ensure that content is relevant and appealing.

  • Solid Analytical Skills: You are capable of analyzing data and understand how to measure enablement and event success.
