The Sales Enablement team is responsible for delivering tools, communication and best practices to support the Individual Life & Financial Services (ILFS) sales channels to ensure they are optimally enabled for success.

This person will establish and maintain strong partnerships with sales channel and recruiting leaders, in addition to department stakeholders. They will partner with sales and recruiting leadership to develop and prioritize sales enablement needs, define initiatives and requirements on an ongoing basis to create and deliver relevant, effective programs. This role will support our Independent Brokerage and our Asset-Based Long Term Care Insurance (Care Solutions) channels.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with sales and recruiting leadership to develop and prioritize sales enablement needs, define initiatives and requirements on an ongoing basis to create and deliver relevant, effective programs
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with sales teams to ensure alignment and clear understanding of business challenges to ensure they are optimally enabled to for success
  • Coordinate new agency candidate meetings and facilitate the initial on-boarding program
  • Responsible for the management and documentation of distribution initiatives, programs, tools, and resources
  • Serve as the project manager for all assigned meetings and events, communicating objectives, project status and updates to meeting stakeholders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and programs, identify key opportunities for improvement through post-event/initiative surveys, sales productivity and performance data, and partner with leaders on future content improvements, strategies, and priorities
  • Partners with leadership team to deliver and execute national sales town halls, national recruiting calls, and channel calls
  • Support and manage additional projects: participate in project meetings, manage milestones and deliverables across miscellaneous projects, ensure deadlines are met, and proactively flag roadblocks / barriers that might hinder projects from launching on time.
  • Some overnight travel may be required to support business meetings.


Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience


Required Work Experience

  • 5+ years administrative, program management, sales support experience
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met
  • Collaborative style and comfortable working with all levels in an organization (peers, colleagues, senior leadership)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple workstreams and deliver on all successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude to contribute to great work partnerships
  • Advanced experience with MS Office, specifically PowerPoint is ideal
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background


Salary Band: 04B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
