Sales Enablement Copywriter (Temporary, Part-Time)

About the role:
We’re seeking a temporary, part time copywriter to support our Marketing and Brand team by crafting the copy for sales collateral and resources that bring to life how BrainPOP helps school and district administrators meet their biggest goals.Â
The role will be approximately 15 hours per week from August 2023 to approximately December 2023.
In this role you will:
- Develop targeted, persuasive B2B sales copy and communication materials for the sales channel
- Articulate the value proposition of our products and services to admin and purchase decision makers
- Collaborate with product marketing, sales enablement, and sales leadership teams to understand product features, benefits, and market positioning to translate them into sales copy for national and regional campaigns.Â
- Leverage insights on audience demographics, pain points, and purchasing behaviors to inform the creation of targeted sales messaging.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across various sales channels, including outreach campaigns, presentations, site content, case studies, and more.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure the sales team has the most persuasive, relevant, and up to date materials.Â
- Align messaging across different sales channels, such as email campaigns, sales presentations, and case studies to create a cohesive narrative that guides prospects from awareness to final purchase and shows current customers the value of their investment.Â
You Are:Â
- A creative, collaborative writer with an interest in education and a deep understanding the goals and needs of schools and districts.
- Familiar with creating content for decision makers in the education industryÂ
- Able to work both independently and as a team to create high quality work and meet deadlines.
- Capable of extracting key messages out of dense materials to create simple, engaging copy.Â
- Someone who understands the relationship between copy and design and is a strategic thinker.
- Detail-oriented and passionate about your craft.
- A consistent self-starter who takes initiative and welcomes feedback and collaboration.
- Flexible and open-minded during project changes and works well with other departments.
On Your Resume:
- Experience in copywriting, ideally for an edtech brand.Â
- Experience writing for a B2B sales team.
- Experience working on multifaceted campaigns and writing across different channelsÂ
- Can provide a creative portfolio and/or writing samples.

The starting salary for this role is between $40.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards. Individual compensation decisions are based on several factors, including experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. Based on these factors, we expect most candidates offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description, as posted. If so, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
