What you'll be doing:

  • Plan and deliver instructor lead training both on a fixed schedule and ad hoc basis for Cognism staff.
  • Onboard new starters and deliver Cognism positioning, product, price book training and critical sales tools. Some of the tools included for training would be: SFDC, Seismic or similar CMS plus Klue or similar CI solution.
  • Work with contributors from departments (such as marketing, product etc.) to ensure content is appropriate for the onboarding of new team members.
  • Analyse feedback from the onboarding and field teams to ensure delivered training and collateral is meeting the requirements of the sales organisation. Maintain consistent interactions with the sales organisation in order to adjust materials to meet the team's requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales organisation to strategize on plans to improve cross selling into existing customer accounts.
  • Drive upsells, and cross product initiatives and training for products and professional services, and align with wider business initiatives.
  • Engage the right Cognism technical experts and product marketing managers to build an accurate and compelling story on our products' strengths and capabilities.
  • Subject matter expert with experience of challenges salespeople face in the field.

Requirements

  • Experience in SaaS sales within a B2B environment.
  • 2+ years direct selling experience.
  • 5+ years industry experience.
  • Ability to conduct both executive level presentations and new hire training presentations
  • Previous leadership experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to tailor content, and draw on experience to meet learners' needs, dependent on their stage of evolution.
  • Ability to connect with and relate to sales professionals quickly and genuinely.
  • Great storytelling ability, confidence, and the ability to make training sessions enjoyable.
  • Focus and time management skills to work remotely.
  • Classic training in a proven sales methodology desirable.
