What We're Looking For:
2U/edX partners with elite postsecondary institutions and corporations globally to deliver the world's best digital education through degree programs, executive education, technical bootcamps and various open programs. To achieve those partnerships, this position is responsible for expanding the reach, speed and efficiencies of the Business Development Sales team.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Directed Research Activity. Helping inform early stage pipeline development to include the following:
- Persona profile bio's
- Strategic plan alignment with 2U/edX value proposition/offerings
- Loyalists (colleagues that have been with leaders at 1 or more stops)
- Pedigree/institution/current partners connection
- Political landscape
- Faculty union activity
- Budget/financial news
- Enrollment trends
- Hiring companies
- Board news/activity
- Content Marketing
- Email Campaign Management. Creating top-of-funnel opportunities for sales team
- Identification of recommended stakeholders, drafting of email outreach in collaboration with Sales team
- Track progress and document activities in Salesforce
- Relationship Mapping. Identify warm connections at target institutions with known individuals.
- Sales Material Preparation. Integration of research, provided by Learning Product, into sales pitch decks and other critical partner-facing materials.
- Tender/RFP support. Project managing the Tender/RFP process' timelines, core materials and requirements.
- Inbound Lead Management. Analyze edX and 2U's inbound B2B lead activity using a provided rubric, and forward to the appropriate key stakeholder.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- 1-5 years of experience in and around a sales organization
- Demonstrated abilities, success, track record of research, data synthesis, and analysis
- Excellent internal and external communication skills both verbal and written with great interpersonal and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for independent work as part of an ever-changing, dynamic team
- A willingness to find the answers that may not be obvious
- Proven track record of project managing processes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($70,000 - $80,000), with potential bonus. Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
