Position

The Sales Enablement Manager will work with Sales Leadership to develop sales content for internal training programs and initiatives that reflect the current sales strategy across New Business, Expansion and Customer Success.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the company’s sales onboarding program for AEs, SAMs and CSMs
  • Define and deliver the company’s ongoing AE, SAM, and CSM training program
  • Collaboratively work across the organization, leveraging experts in sales, CS, marketing, product, and other areas to deliver rich programs
  • Define certification and testing process and criteria for certifications by job title and/or on major new deliverables or programs (e.g., weekly demo, standard deck)
  • Ensure sales has access to training materials and tools at their disposal, when needed, and use feedback to drive requests for new/revised training and tools
  • Use data to evaluate the impact of training programs; strong ability to relay this information in a constructive manner to sales leadership and interdependencies

Requirements

  • Prior experience leading sales development function reporting to VP of Sales at an enterprise software organization
  • At least 3 years total experience in sales development, including at least one year at the IC level
  • Prior formative experience of at least 2 years carrying a bag in a quota-carrying sales position
  • Expertise in popular sales enablement software packages including Chorus, Clari and Salesfore.com (in particular training reps how to properly use it in accordance with a company’s policies)
  • Robust presentation & communication skills (verbal, written) including ability to present, facilitate, and influence.
  • Ability to work positively and collaboratively with team members at all levels, leaders and cross-functional team members
