Summary

Responsible for providing the global sales organization with the information, content, expertise, and tools to help salespeople sell more effectively. Optimizes all buyer interactions to build pipelines, relationships, opportunities, and improve communication. Requires demonstrating knowledge and proficiencies in buyer behavior and your company’s go to market process to create continuous training opportunities through various methods. Create and deliver content, information, and tools to prepare sellers to deliver on company business goals including building client relationships, identifying client need, how company products and services can meet client needs and capturing opportunities within their accounts. Uses sales metrics to identify and quantify effective sales strategies. Will continually evaluate and deploy new and improved deployment methods. Typically collaborates with the global team, Sales Leadership, Marketing & Sales Operations to create content and track and measure operations and performance. Individual will be aligned with Sales VPs, their sales managers, and teams to build relationships, anticipate and evaluate training gaps and needs, and respond to requests for training. This individual will also be the hand off post new hire training to train and enable continuous learning for sellers and sales leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Contributes to a small team by taking ownership to deliver assigned activities with urgency and professionalism.

  • Understands that objectives, call to actions, metrics, and feedback in the training process is critical for success and that our sales organization is our customer. Individual has the ability to build strong relationships with our sales org and gain their trust and buy into sales coaching.

  • Provides Seller and Sales Management Enablement & coaching in North America 

  • Collaborates with global counterparts to enable our global sales team with consistency and drive to improve performance

  • Collaboration & coordination are critical key components to success. Individual keeps our customer (Workiva Sales Organization) at the center of training decisions to positively impact our sellers and sales leaders, while working effectively as a team to facilitate and/or co-facilitate training sessions.

  • May interact with high-level individual contributors and managers across multiple areas

  • Builds productive internal working relationships that require regular interaction across similar areas.

  • Ability to collect and analyze data

  • Ability to multi-task with multiple projects simultaneously Ability to learn, understand and then teach new topics in short time periods

  • Ability to build internal and external relationships, partnerships and business development

  • Passionate and energetic toward both sales and training

  • Solid understanding of how technology works from a conceptual standpoint and can effectively and succinctly teach technical information to a non-technical audience

​Experience:

  • Superior project management skills with the ability to deliver on a deadline

  • 3-5 years of Corporate Training experience (3-5 years)

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience (Force Management, Command of the Message, MEDDIC methodology strongly preferred)

  • The aptitude to rapidly master new technologies, methodologies, and subject matter, and transfer this expertise to others

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Willingness and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment to produce effective training materials

  • Experience working with Fortune 500 companies is a plus

  • Learning Management Software experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred Expertise in Accounting, Finance, or Risk, with solid spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software capability is strongly preferred

Travel Requirement:

Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office. ​

How You’ll Be Rewarded:

  • Salary range in the US: 
$61,000.00 - $104,000.00
  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
  • 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
