Sales Engagement Specialist
The Sales Engagement Specialist will support marketing strategy and communications to drive producer engagement. Work cross-functionally with key partners in Sales and Relationship Management, Enterprise and within the GB Marketing department. This role will require understanding of The Hartford's Group Benefits business, how we go to market and the key way we differentiate ourselves with producers and customers. Experience with sales or related content/strategic marketing required.

How You Will Support Our Team
The Producer Engagement Specialist will be focused on content marketing and communications support for producer engagement. Main project focus will be building out a producer engagement program, including establishing branding, a content calendar and executing requests through our enterprise Creative Team. In addition, this role will support other producer events, education, and strategic planning through creation of presentations and collateral in support of the current virtual environment. This role will reinforce our value proposition and key messages with internal and external partners to help strategically differentiate The Hartford from competitors.
Our ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities concurrently and can pivot from one task to another without losing sight of the bigger picture. This role will report to the Director of our Sales Enablement Marketing center of excellence

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$76,720 - $115,080

Role Expectations
- Lead consultative discussions and drive ideation of marketing deliverables
- Understand the unique needs of Group Benefits producers and develop content that drives results
- Plan and execute ongoing newsletter communications that appeal to multiple producer audiences
- Ensure a unified, on-brand message to clients and key business partners across all content deliverables
- Represent the broader marketing and communications department and amplify the team's work through alignment to sales and relationship management organization
- Provide specific/consultativefeedback to internal clients
- Support communications and promotions of strategic plans
- Take the initiative to identify needs and develop realistic and creative solutions
- Work well under pressure and within deadlines
- Provide high level of quality assurance on all deliverables
Skills and Experience Needed
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of content marketing, digital marketing or relevant experience, such as sales
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, such as communications, advertising, PR, journalism
- Experience building marketing plans and/or related skills preferred
- Strong project management skills, prioritization and organizational skills
- Technologically savvy team player who can work effectively with business partners and across teams
- Ability to work independently yet collaboratively
- Highly developed communication, consultative, and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and the ability to embrace and maximize a changing landscape
- Effective verbal and written communication that caters to all levels of the organization, including senior management
- Critical thinker, able to learn from and apply best practices from previous initiatives
- Possess and maintain a holistic view of the organization through communication and collaboration with other marketing contacts and business partners
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience using Workfront is a plus
