Sales Engineer

Imagen is seeking a creative, self-motivated Sales Engineer to support our outside sales team in the acquisition of new logo commercial partnerships with Primary Care Provider networks across the U.S. This role will be responsible for ensuring all deals in the sales pipeline are appropriately managed from a tactical perspective - providing white glove service to our prospective customers. The ideal candidate will also be able to strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, and effectively manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Creation and maintenance of “plan of attack” in partnership with outside sales representatives to assist in acquiring new Primary Care customers through a complex, consultative sales process Â
- Independently create proposals, pricing documents, and other supporting materials
- Become an expert on the business models of Imagen and its customers, positioning you to conduct compelling demonstrations with our prospective customers
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting in Imagen’s CRM system (Salesforce.com)
- Manage transition of customers from signature to implementation process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree requiredÂ
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare consulting role, with inside sales, sales operations or support experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining an impeccable level of detail orientation
- Entrepreneurial spirit - takes ownership and responsibility for the assigned work
- Strong process orientation - can successfully bring together and manage the internal expertise necessary to help drive a sale to completion
- Track record of working in top tier healthcare technology or services environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
